Bark is almost black on mature trunks with deep furrows. Inner bark is yellow to orange. Trunk matures to 3’ in diameter. Clear Quality.

Very impressed with the Nursery's handling and tree prep. Sadly, one tree died but I believe it was due to extra warm conditions while being shipped. Would happily order more trees from Green Thumbs .

Leaves turning Brown

I received 3 GT-2-3 Black Oak trees on 6/23. They all looked to be in good shape. I planted all three that day carefully following the planting instructions included in the package.
The trees have watered regularly to keep the soil moist. Two of the three look fine, but after 12 days, the leaves on the third tree are turning brown. It looks like it is dying. What should I do?
Will this tree survive?

Thanks

Trees in my yard

Still too early to know. Just received the trees yesterday, and planted yesterday as well. They arrived healthy, and their root was encased well; the cloth still faintly damp, so I'm happy. I expect they'll take off pretty quick. We'll see.

The tree arrived promptly and was in very good shape. It is now on the way to becoming a mature tree !
